Islamic Education

The Islamic Religious Education at SD Supriyadi is more emphasized on the process of habituation or familiarizing students with religious practices aimed at guiding them toward a noble status in the sight of Allah (maqaman mahmudah).

Full-day School System

SD Supriyadi with a full-day school system. With this system, students receive an educated social environment throughout the day as part of the comprehensive character-building process.

  October 21, 2024 Today, we rehearsed for the cultural performance scheduled for tomorrow. Everyone was excited to prepare, and although there was some nervousness, it was an enjoyable experience. Tuesday In the morning, we arrived at school early to prepare for the performance. The buddy students helped us with our makeup and hair styling; they were very skilled, which made us feel much more confident. 1st week in Indonesia

October 1, 2024 At 3 AM, we departed from school to Tan Son Nhat Airport to prepare for our flight to Jakarta. The ticketing process went smoothly.  My friend and I sat next to a kind Vietnamese stranger who helped us a lot during our journey from Jakarta to Semarang. I was pleasantly surprised by the flight to Semarang; the flight attendants were very friendly and eager to assist us, especially since we didn’t speak Indonesian. Just before landing, they even distributed snacks and drinks, which amazed me—perhaps because it was my first time flying? When we arrived in Semarang, it was already dark. Our friends Inna and Linda were there to welcome us. They were very sweet and took us to try “Nasi Padang.” At that moment, we were both tired and hungry.  After eating, we went to school to take a few photos before heading to the dormitory. Opposite our room was the room of some Filipino students. 2nd week in Indonesia

October 7, 2024 Today, I observed Grade 5B, where the teacher was teaching Indonesian. The atmosphere in the classroom was quite surprising, as it was completely different from any classroom I have experienced before. The environment was neither tense nor restrictive; on the contrary, the students were free to express themselves and actively engage in various activities. Despite this relaxed atmosphere, what stood out to me was that the students remained diligent and well-behaved, consistently completing their tasks effectively. I was truly impressed by their self-discipline and eagerness to learn. After the lesson, we proceeded to the university's main office. Later, the group and I went to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. I ordered a Japanese dish, which was absolutely delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the rich flavors left me feeling extremely satisfied.
