 DESCRIPTION OF THE OBSERVATION

  • TEACHING METHOD

From the observations during the first week, the teaching methods employed by the teacher for the students are as follows:

Questioning Method: The teacher constructs a system of questions for the students to answer, allowing them to express their thoughts and ideas, thereby exploring and comprehending the subject matter.

- Experiential Method: The teacher creates engaging learning activities that encourge active student participation. Students are free to express their ideas without being confined to rigid structures. The teacher maintains a positive classroom environment, helping students feel comfortable and confident in their participation.

  • LEARNING AND INNOVATION MATERIALS

The materials commonly used by teachers to support teaching and learning include textbooks and electronic presentations. Additionally, teachers utilize real-world resources.

Teachers often implement innovative teaching strategies, such as organizing games-tentatively called “Pass the Ball.” The whole class sings while passing the ball, and when the song ends, the student holding the ball answers a question. Other interactive activities are also employed.

  • LEARNING RESOURCES AND TECHNOLOGY

Teachers utilize materials from textbooks during the teaching process. In terms of technology, they use PowerPoint presentations to support their instruction.

  • AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT

Teachers assess students' work directly in the classroom, allowing them to grasp each student’s learning situation immediately. After assigning tasks, teachers monitor students’ progress while grading on the spot. This approach not only provides immediate feedback to students but also encourages interaction between teachers and students. It helps students better understand their strengths and areas for improvement in their learning process.
